Product: Copper Nugget 3 Lb 4.6 Oz Glacial Float Copper Nugget Display Specimen Polished Sealed! FC002
Float copper was formed by glaciers thousands of years ago. Much of it, as is true of this piece, was deposited in and around the famous Upper Penninsula of Michigan, which is also known as "Copper Country." This specimen has been polished on one side and contains turquoise oxidation, a result of exposure to water and elements in the soil. This listing features:
A beautiful native float copper nugget weighing 3 pounds, 4.6 ounces
Nugget measures approx. 4 3/8" high by 4 1/2" across the base by 1" thick
Nugget is polished on the front and sealed to preserve its shine
This nugget was sawed off on the bottom so that it can stand upright
Will make a great gift or collector's item!
